As for traveling to Delft, Delft has two train stations (Delft and Delft-Zuid (Zuid means South in Dutch).
You will need to travel to Delft station (not Delft-Zuid).

From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, after exiting the area of baggage claim, follow the “Train” sign which will lead you to the train terminal located right below the arrival terminal.
There are direct trains Schiphol-Delft every 30 minutes and trains with one transfer as well.
The transfer usually happens in Leiden Central, Den Haag HS, or Rotterdam Central.
